Because this blog will be dominated by football-related content for the next five months, your author has decided to make an effort to regularly post pictures his lovely and talented sister took of some of his artwork. These posts will include a brief thought or two about when the piece was made.
This week: An ink design with different fonts of the letter D
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT: Some time in community college, we had a project in which we were supposed to take the first letter of out name and create a design using different typefaces for it. My favorite parts of this piece have to be the portions where the letters intersect.
WHAT STILL KINDA BUGS ME ABOUT IT: Not much, really. Maybe there's a few fonts that have come along over the years that would've been cool to include (I didn't use comic sans? OK, maybe that's not such a bad thing ...), but as a whole, it is what it is.
